True Hope Fellowship

Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up, do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
Isaiah 43:19-20

As the Covid 19 virus continues to consume both our thoughts and our actions, I feel compelled with the prophet Isaiah to ask all Christ followers: How come you are not perceiving that God is doing a new thing? Are you aware , that as a consequence of the ‘Stay at Home’ order, more churches than ever before are streaming their services online, thereby beginning to reach a generation that is unreached with the Gospel.

God is doing a New Thing!

Are you aware that as a result of the “Stay at Home’ order and the consequences of this virus, the prayers offered on the You Version App of the Bible were over 1.6 million?

God is doing a New Thing!
Are you aware that even with True Hope streaming our services live, we have people watching and worshiping across the country?

God is doing a New Thing!
When God does a new thing, Christ followers have a choice to make. They can continue to look back and ask God to take them back to “the good old days” or they can choose to move with God into the New Thing God is up to.

The church of Jesus Christ has experienced much suffering, persecution, and uncertainty in the past and yet has endured and prospered. Now in the beginning of a new season of New Things which we do not always perceive or understand, I want to challenge each of you to take the eyes of your mind and heart off the world’s stuff and put them back on God who is always doing New Things, so people will perceive Him and turn to Him.

Lord, in these last days, may we shine as lights in the darkness and lift up the name of Jesus.
